Opening amount adjustment

The opening amount of water jet loom is different due to the difference of the big stroke, single spray and double spray, flat opening and multi-arm opening are also different, too large or too small will cause the broken thread and the weft line flight problems. The size of the opening should be selected according to the variety requirements, raw material properties, opening mechanism and beating mechanism, which should ensure the smooth flight of the weft insertion, and can not appear the broken thread.

The adjustment of the opening quantity of the flat opening mechanism is changed by moving the cotter pin in the opening arm when the loom is 180°. The cotter pin moves to the front of the machine, the opening quantity increases, and the opening quantity decreases when moving to the back of the machine. Small opening, which is good for speed. The opening is too small, which is not conducive to the flight of weft water column. The opening amount is too large, easy to cause the broken end of the warp.

Adjustment of opening time

The flat opening time of the water jet loom is generally 350°~355° for single injection and 345°~355° for double injection. The incorrect opening time will cause problems such as poor insertion or broken warp.
